Personal Territory Tour: Why the Tour of BitterSweet Falls

The time I spent in BitterSweet Falls collecting data and recording my surroundings was magical. I found tranquility in the soft sounds of nature and the beautiful rushing water of the river, even despite the small amounts of litter. I also found, that often times I would just lose myself in thought and begin to forget about all of the stressful things that were harboring on my mind. I felt as if I could dream and create there– undisturbed, and I felt at peace with myself and with my life up to that point, no matter how many bad memories were still in the back of my mind.

Personal Territory Tour: Exploration #25 Water at BitterSweet Falls

Exploration #25, as referenced in the book, How to be an Explorer of the World requests:

Water: Study and document shapes made by water. Find as many as you can. Research shapes made by water. Come up with new ones.

My research has brought me to the conclusion that Water has many distinct properties. It is the most abundant compound in the world and it can be seen in many different forms. By definition, water is a liquid.

Liquid: v. A state of matter that has a definite volume, but not a definite shape.

During my stay at BitterSweet Falls, I have found many examples of shapes of water.
